What handlebars is the SideLights product compatible with?
The SideLights product is compatible under two conditions:
- The internal diameter (hole in the handlebar) measures at least 15mm, over 13cm in length.
- The angle of the handlebars tending towards the cyclist (backsweep) does not exceed 25 degrees.
Do I need to change grips to mount the SideLights system on my bike?
If you have the ability to access the internal hole of your handlebar with your current grips, you can keep them.
If your handles do not allow any opening at their end, you will need to change the handle.
We also offer a pair of grips and a bike mirror that fit perfectly with all our products! Available during our Kickstarter Campaign.
Do I need any tools to mount the SideLights system on my bike?
You will not need any special tools to mount the SideLights product on your bike. Everything you need is provided in the packaging.
Are SideLights compatible with a rearview mirror?
SideLights are compatible with mirrors that do not fit inside the handlebar.
We also offer a pair of SideLights handles that fit perfectly with all our products!
How to mount the SideLights system?

Features and Usage
What are the visibility advantages of the SideLights system compared to a conventional lighting system?
The SideLights system gives you 360-degree visibility across your entire width. The direction indicators accompany you in changes of direction, increasing your visibility when changing direction.
Does the SideLights system illuminate the road?
Yes, the SideLights system allows you to see and be seen. With its two powerful front lights, SideLights allows you to see the road clearly, no matter how bright the road is.
Does the blinking function replace the hand gesture when changing direction?
No, the turn signal increases your visibility when announcing a change of direction, but does not replace the mandatory hand gesture.
Does the SideLights light system replace a classic light system with a front and rear light?
The SideLights system can replace the front and rear light on your bike.
Please check that SideLights comply with the road laws in your country.
For fast electric bikes (45km/h), the SideLights system does not replace any lights.
How do I charge my SideLights system?
The two lights of the Sidelights product each have a battery that is removed from the fixed part of the system. These batteries are recharged via a USB-C connection that is provided to you.
